Welcome and thank you for visiting my site.

I am a cinephile, PhD student, and teaching fellow in the Cinema Studies Department at New York University. My dissertation, “Hollywood’s Ballyhoo Boys and Girls” focuses on the history of Hollywood studio-era promotional departments and strategies.

I am also currently completing a manuscript entitled, “The Rise of Virginia Van Upp,” that examines the life and movies of Hollywood movie producer Virginia Van Upp.

I’ve taught undergraduate film courses at NYU, Seton Hall University, and CUNY Brooklyn College.

Occasionally, I’m funny.
